Unpredictable
in ‘nature’ is she
dropping hints
with sun rays
peaking out
between
clouds
apparitions held
as fading shadows
become
cloudy
mirrors
and the next moment
a downpour of
rain filling gutters
a deluge
down
drain
spouts
a disappearing act
slight of hand
the earth drying
cracks in
hardened
clay
a capricious magician
prone to laughter
a comic relief
dancing
across a stage
of her own
making

The weather often does seem to be a capricious magician. I enjoyed your imagery and the visual form of the lines in this one.
Hope you’re enjoying the sunshiny moments, Renee. ⛅🌞

Right now temperature is good but the rest of the week 90s? That will be too hot so will stay indoors mostly. Stay cool! 😉

You too! Supposed to hit 106° and 107° here Wednesday and Thursday. Record heat and dreading it. Very strange for the Pacific Northwest!

You must live in Eastern Washington. My son does and he has said it will be in the triple digits. Stay cool.

Believe it or not we’re in Western Washington (southwest). Not usually known for temps in the hundreds. But I hear even Seattle might see triple digits. Ack!
