  1. I know what you mean about low energy. I learned to pace myself. I do a bit, sit, do a bit more, sit. Or I’d never get anything done. The heat drains my energy too, so, I look forward to cooler temps, it can stay in Autumn until spring for us eh! 🙂 I’m glad you have the strong mind it needs to cope with your illness.Keep on keeping on.
    This is an amazing pic, love it. Your poem has a strong message. Holding something captive and, sooner or later, it will die.

  2. A bit sad…like the ending of a life…but really that’s the cycle we’re held “captive” to, right? I love that picture…you describe it so perfectly with your well chosen words.
