A Loquacious Morning

The morning wakens with a silent hushed breath
wet dew upon the grass leaving in its’ wake
the first dazzling warmth of sun rays
giving life the first inkling to stir

where swallows chirp in bird song loudly
swooping as if lifted by warm breezes
signaling to each other as they
seem to float on invisible air currents

as this new day leaves hesitation behind
heralding change as if a speech is nigh
unable to abate such verbosity
loquacious in eager announcement

to be heard even in a last falling leaf
caught in warmest subtle puffs of air
or the first cherry blossoms bright
as Spring has finally appeared

    1. Yesterday it began with so many birds and new blossoms on the trees, as if transformed over night. It seemed to go from very, very cold to every so warm. Today was even warmer so tomorrow I must dress for it and shed some warmer clothing. Thank you for your kind words always. Hope you are doing well.

    1. Thank you, my friend. Winter stayed so long and every day it seemed to chill me to the bone but then, seemingly, overnight Spring has arrived and I do believe took everyone by surprise! Yes, just days away now for the move and every day seems busy but I will go to my new home on Saturday for my great granddaughter’s second birthday and one week later will be sleeping beneath a new roof with new sounds and at night….no sound at all, being it is in the country. That will be very new to me. Sending love your way, Sue, and I just know your garden will be beautiful very soon now. Do take care.

    1. Thank you for visiting my site. It isn’t often I come across someone who, not only spells Renee with an accent, but is a writer as well. You are off to a good start. So very young and a lifetime to explore the possibilities. I am glad you enjoyed the read.
