Silver Threads Of Nature

Silver Threads

I will leave you the peace in my soul
that will find you in the love of my heart

for I will leave you the memories shared
whether joyous dancing on the stage of life
or sadness fading in the shadows of day

for life has woven me a colorful garment
with silver threads of nature’s wisdom

that has hollowed out a place for you
where warm you will be in the sun’s embrace
followed by the path of a starlit moon

within which voices will sing in stardust
to lull you to sleep at the end of each day

where always you will wake to bird song
within which you will hear my voice true
giving you the peace within my soul
surrounded by the love within my heart

    1. Yes, this is how I interpreted the prompt you gave. I have been rather busy as late looking for another apartment and packing so I do apologize for not referencing the prompt with my poem. Be well.

    1. Thank you so much Claudia and so happy to see you once again. No worries that you are unable to visit but once in awhile. People have busy lives and can’t always be perusing the Blog internet sites. I, for one, have not posted in some time now as the people that bought the property where I live raised the rent substantially and I began looking in January for another apartment. Since then I have been getting rid of things….again….and packing everything up. We will sign a lease on the 26th and be all moved in by the 31st, Third time in 3yrs and I am hoping this will be a place to stay for some years more. Moving, as you know, is a wearing task. Hope you are well and your family also. 🙂

I am feeling brighter, though I wish I could say the same for the weather we awoke to 2 cms of snow again this morning Easter Monday.. Never mind, its not set to last as it should turn to rain later today..

    1. I see here you had snow again. Our Winter, too, is having difficulty turning the corner for Spring but it is coming. We actually moved on Easter day, which here was April 1st, so very busy indeed. Much love my friend…xoxo

      1. Wonderful to know you are all settled in your new home Renee, and yes Winter is still not giving in too quickly to Spring.. The temp’s fluctuate up and down so quickly, I wonder what nature is making of it all, As the birds are getting ready for nesting.. Take care.. Love and Hugs xx
