Goblins, Witches & Ghouls

Every year at Halloween
excitement filled the air
and children waited
on bated breath

to be goblins, witches,
hoboes and clowns
be become something
of a magical flare

where two streets over
lived a witch to bate them
her house decorated
with pumpkins and ghouls

but who could resist the
table laid before them
with all manner of sweet things
to cause you to drool

    1. Thank you Betty. I began the painting last Fall but was unable to complete it for some reason so decided to finish it this year. It keeps me busy and now I am retired I have more time to pursue it…even if it won’t ever be more than it is. I am happy others might like it and make them smile. 🙂

    1. Thank you Jamie and for feeling the art worthy of being used today. We will have no trick or treaters here most likely but my daughters will send pics of the grandkids and great grandkids to me of what they are dressed up so I look forward to that. Hope your day goes well and Happy Halloween to you! 🙂
