  1. last week in venice i crossed so many bridges that they somehow have a new meaning for me now. sometimes we see those bridges only as a crossing point between two places – the past – the future – something new – something where we want to go to or not – they always give us a taste as well of what’s ahead – new hope maybe – a little pause of breath.. a sense of being… it’s precious

  2. So true about the past…it will never change except for our perceptions about it. I love that you portrayed a bridge as the present…linking the past and future, Renee. And that’s a beautiful photo!

      1. Yes, the founders, Brian and Claudia, have stepped back and allowed others to take over the administration duties. I think they still participate now and then. I was honored to have been asked to do a presentation for them. It was fun too. I also joined in with Rochelle’s Flash Friday Fictioneers. Rochelle shows a photo each week and you write a story in 100 words…that’s fun too. She has a crowd of people over there! I’m trying hard to get inspired to keep up my writing. 🙂 Nice to see you out and about too. xo

    1. Thank you Claire! I tried to leave another comment on a post on your site but I could not figure it out. It stated to choose pics with certain things in them but my eyesight is so bad it just did not seem to work.

  3. I too have often thought of “bridges” as the path to a gap of understanding. However, the bridge I often wanted to gap was the seemingly wide margin between my mother and I. I used to think that if I could only reach her in understanding what lie between us, then the vast cannon would be bridged and we could actually meet one and another in the middle somewhere. It of course never occurred, but throughout life I held out for hope
