a sliver of moon beam light
descends upon my path
edged in silver garnered
casting shadows long upon
the grass from trees & i see
it translates from this place
to yours’ a thousand miles
a tryst measured in moments
when i will see you once again
on the other side of time & smile

The moon shines so much brighter it seems especially upon a frosty night.. I just love the Moons light as it reflects and shows the sparkling glitter of the frost… Lovely Poem Renee…
Wishing you a peaceful weekend and a Happy New start to 2014 xx

Thank you Sue! I am slowly getting back to writing again but there are times I find that I try to write and even though words flow from pen to paper they are not what pleases me enough to post them. I, too, am hoping that 2014 will bring changes that are new and those that will open doors to me that seemed all but closed in 2013, Thank you for all of your support always. xoxoxo

Lovely poem.. I read it quite a few times and it gets better with each reading.. a mellow and melodious feel to it.
