flocks of geese fly by
in V formation
silhouetted against
the evening sky
a lone heron heedless
of their departure
clouds so close
you can almost hear
their wings brush them
as leaves on trees
and shrubs begin to
show a sprinkling
first of color then
gradually spreading
to cover
as though artists
hidden in the guise
of fairies
have used them as
their canvas
to paint the
coming of Fall

I could not believe my eyes the other day to notice bushes turning red and the tips of some leaves, gold and yellow. We are still having some fairly warm weather and tonight, humid with warm light rain. I, too, love this time of year. Smiles.

Thank You Brian. My tact is, that I believe prose is poetry…just of another kind. Forever I have been someone set apart, an individual. I have been far more ‘social’ doing my site than I ever have in my real life and met wonderful people. But I am who I am. Writing prose, to me, is like creating my own kind of art…which I also do…and although I love rhyme and verse, it simply isn’t me. Even you have a wonderful free style way about you and I think that is why I keep coming again and again to your site. Don’t lose that because it is part of what makes you…”YOU”! Smiles Always

Autumn is on its way. Birds flying south and the leaves turning. Here too. As the nip in the morning air arrives
I couldn’t sleep! Just at work browsing through emails that have come in on my mobile.
Sending you my thoughts for your rest of the week. And pass on my love to your family.

Thank you Sue and always for your kind thoughts. Keep my oldest daughter in your thoughts as she is having a bad Lupus flare (just found out tonight as she doesn’t want to worry me). Alas, she is 36yrs old but I will always worry. Take care xoxo

Magical poem painting fall, gentle and beautiful. We don’t see this yet. In September the Swallows fly and the Bea Eaters gather atop the nearby mountains calling to one another in their hundreds before setting off for their winter home.

Thank you so much. It has been a busy Summer so have not been on as much or by to visit as much, either, but hopefully time will be coming that I will be able to do more of both. Hope you and your family are well.
