Why, thank you Becca! What a surprise and truly I feel blessed to have come across so many gifted and talented people since I have begun my site. I don’t have much traffic on my site but enjoy those who come. I look forward to retiring (about 5yrs now) so I can devote more time to writing. Again, thank you for thinking of me.

My Granddad used to mend shoes for the family and had a cobblers foot in which he mended our shoes … this brought back that memory .. A lovely posting Renee.. 🙂

What a wonderful memory that is. My mother actually had a shoe shine kit, the box all made of wood, so she could shine our shoes…mostly dad’s I think…when I was a child but a cobblers foot that your granddad used…that is such a good memory for you. Thank You!

I have one still Renee, I think maybe I should take a picture some time and post it.. for it was painted with pretty flowers and I use it now as a door stop! 🙂
