rain comes down in
torrential rivulets
as wind buffets
the house
a reminder that the
smell of lilacs
carried on spring
breezes
will remain a distant
song carrying me
to the other side of
stormy seas

Gosh, I love the scent of Lilacs wafted on the breeze. What a lovely thought as we prepare for winter. 🙂

You know Renee Lilacs bring so many good memories… when I was a child we had two Lilac trees and then in the year 2000 we went to Canada in May/June and saw the Lilac’s in bloom… beautiful words my friend
Now as to the snow I am assured by a friend that if you follow these instructions you can activate your snow
so
In the dashboard, go to Settings, and then select General.
At the bottom of the General Settings page, the Snow tick box should be there, just above the Save Changes button. Hope that is ok Renee and you make it snow It lasts until around Jan 5th i think and then it automatically stops xx

I have snow now, too, and like it so much better on the screen than on the ground. Thank you Sue.

We have had lots of rain lately and for whatever reason I thought of when the lilacs bloom and it made the dismal feeling I had melt away. Thank you for visiting and for your comment.
