Essence of Time

as essence of time
renews itself
like a seedling
rising up twisting
breaking through a
muddied ground

so footsteps will
one day traverse
these halls anew
a different era
giving rise to
echoes of me

  1. Beautiful … your words and your image Renee…
We are all of us pushing our way through the muddied ground… each one of us seedling, so much contained within to grow to the potential we all are..
Some of us never get the chance to germinate.. while others fall upon hard-ground and times never being given the chance to grow fully.. while others grow and are trampled under foot… And others still go on to grow tall only to wilt beneath the Sun as they lack sustenance .. Others Grow and are Cut down in their prime.. while others grow and get neglected and are left to dry out and wither ..
Its a lucky seed that is planted to grow without hardship and come to bloom in the glory of the harvest and ripen to its full potential..
Only Time tells…. as we all of us echo our thoughts as we move through to another era of time..

    Wonderful Renee… wonderful.. xxxx

    1. I do believe there are fewer without hardship than with but I also believe that it is because of hardship that our lives can give rise to the greatest change. It doesn’t seem that way while we are in midst but when on the other side, in retrospect, we can know the answers to why. Thanks for your encouraging words, as always, Sue. Take Care.

  2. way fun what you are doing in this image to make the words pop. i ilke that a lot. you can also slightly lighten the letters too – that will add pop and make them stand out even more. this way is subtle and that works too. it depends on how you want the words to appear. i like when they are easy to read – but sometimes i want some words to be less noticeable – so both ways can be useful to know.

i also like the sense of “echo” you use in the image by doubling the image into itself. cool. and way fun exploration. aloha
