Whispering Softly

the wind whispers through                   "Whispering Softly"
branches of trees
innuendoes of endless seas

whispering softly
murmuring low
secrets unknown

perhaps there resides implicit
knowledge of us there
bewildered if we really care

whispering softly
murmuring low
secrets unknown                                              “Whispering Softly”

pantomine gestures leafy boughs
quietly holding birds at rest
hatchlings held within a nest

whispering soflty
murmuring low
secrets unknown

the wind whispers through
branches of trees
listening forever endlessly

    1. Thank you Sue. Good to see you here. I just posted the portrait I did of my grandchildren some time back. Thank goodness my youngest daughter is good with the camera and I have email. LOL

  1. I like Whispering Softly. Can you tell me what form poetry this is? I write poetry occasionally, but the only two forms that I know anything about are haiku and villanelle.

PS – Your website is wonderful – so colorful and easy to navigate. Have you found you have more choices with your own .com than having a .wordpress.com?

    1. Nice to see someone new visiting here. I write lots of prose and for the poetry realm that means free style. I have written some meter type poetry where there is lots more rhyme and have written the occasional haiku. I write what feels good to me and if you venture more into the poetry arena there are actually lots of published poets who write prose rather than sticking to any one form. I do like having the .com rather than being totally tied into WordPress, although in some ways I still am. I pay them a very minimal fee to have the .com. You would have to decide if it is worth it to you. Thanks for stopping by.
