Every year here in the city of Puyallup, they have the Spring Fair. It is not quite as big as the annual fair held in the Fall but just as fun. I found this photo on a site dedicated to some of the goings on at the fair and wanted to share this photo of the pig races. And “They’re Off!”

piggy race? good one! 🙂

I think piglets are so cute when they run and they do run fast.

You should see my collection of ceramic and iron piggies. The herd (or is it a drove?) is directly across from our front door, wandering around three short columns on a room divider. And my money is on Pig 4 – slow start, but those little hooves are off the ground! Sweet. Amy

My niece collects pigs. I have one ready to give her when I see her in June in CA. So, you are the second piggy collector I know now.

I don’t think watching cockroaches or toads would be quite as much fun. I agree. Yuk!

At the Easter show here one year, they had diving pigs – very funny and they seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly 🙂

Trying to imaging ‘diving pigs’….hmmmm. A bit more difficult than racing pigs to conjure up.
