Mellow Yellow Monday

We have lots of Bald Eagles in Washington State and I never

tire of seeing them. This photo is from a site with others taken

in Washington State at http://socialcapitalreview.org. Enjoy!

  1. chloe and I would see them frequent;y where we used to live, but one day we saw some in a field, eating berries, (we guessed) but when they heard our car they took off and there were 5 or 6 of them. NEVER seen that many in one place ever before. Love eagles… they symbolize such freedom to soar and glide me. Lucky you!

    1. We can drive down the freeway here and in certain areas see them flying really high and there is a place up north where you can see their nests and everything. Yes, I do feel lucky that I get to see such an awesome sight.

    1. I actually stayed home as I worked too many hours in the yard and as we have had so little sun got a really bad sinus migraine but I’m fine now. We are wanting to finish the things needing done here over the next couple of years and sell the house and downsize. Too big and too much yard. I’m getting too old for all of it and frankly, I want to spend more time writing.

  2. Eagles are fascinating creatures. We usually get a few, each spring, near the mouth of the river. Last year, we had an abundance. It was reported in the paper with a photo of nineteen of them all perched in one tree. Of course, I went to the river and watched them fishing. Wonderful,
