Readying a list of ‘things to do’
one taken from the file cabinet
behind the door marked ‘ASKEW’
inside the cobwebbed recesses of
my mind with duster in hand to
sweep them away just to find
projects getting done another
day when ‘It’s time for stepping
out and moving on!”..just sayin’

All things get done, in their own sweet time. Don’t sweat the small stuff, especially dust! LOL

Nah, the dust is someone else’s chore but the bigger stuff is usually mine…unfortunately. LOL

Renee, loved the self-deprecating tone, but not too harsh. Your life and mine intersect at this point. I start to clean, notice a book I need to research, pull it off… then that reminds me of a poem I wanted to write… if Lex was not here, I’d be in deep doo-doo. Ha ha, Amy

Thanks Amy! It’s all good really until I really have to get it all going. We plan to off load the house in two years now…was going to be four…but the situation with a neighbor, going on since we moved here (she drives all the neighbors bonkers) has taken its’ toll. Need something smaller and more manageable before I retire and this is not it. So, hence, the project list. Wish me luck! 🙂

I have to have a certain ‘mind set’ as in a couple of years now want to downsize and sell the house for something smaller. It is too big and too much upkeep. So, it is ‘onward and upward’ and I have to think positive.
