Treading the still
night air as lightly the
breeze touches
her long black hair
she dances
ephemeral waves of
dreams with filaments
electric a mirrored
sillhouette being
she floats
moving amidst
all that has been and
all that will be
resonating clearly as
she leaves
insatiable thirst
quenched to be
captured ‘neath the
moonbeam sea

Aww that is so lovely. She reminds me of being a mermaid and longing for the sea.
Lovely.

Thank You Gerald! Coming from a well published writer it is a great compliment to have. I wrote early on in my life and then raised a family and now have taken it up again and hope one day to be published also. I look forward to reading your poems.

You are far too kind, my friend, but I have always loved words and the message that they can convey and perhaps, too, that they touch people’s hearts. If I have achieved this then I could ask for nothing more. Thank You!
