Why do I worry about you so
because you are part of
my heart and soul
your soft baby skin
your twinkling brown eyes
caused me to smile and
then to sigh
from the moment they laid
you in my arms I was
captivated by your charms Image by Anne Geddes
to know I was chosen to ride
with you on life’s journey
in all that you do now
a woman with children too
so why do I worry and
love you so because
you are part of my
heart and soul

Renee, this really touched me. As the mother of a 24-year-old young woman, I remember when she was as vulnerable as the picture – but now she’s a vibrant, feisty, artistic, gender queer, funny, activist leftie… and I could not be prouder.
Your words brought a tear to my eye – “cry for happy,” as we say. Peace, Amy

This is about my oldest daughter. I am close to both for different reasons. Without them my life would be truly empty.

So very sweet…as a mother to two adult daughters, I know that we mothers never stop worrying and wishing the happiest life possible for our children. Renee, I hope your daughter is coping well with the health issues that you had previously mentioned.
Peace… xoxo

I wish her success and protection during her surgery and a complete and swift recovery. I feel the same way about my daughters…they have given me so much in my life…one is 38 and her sister is 37… they’re the best things that ever happened to me.
I hope you won’t be too worried during the surgery tomorrow, Renee.

Thank you mama. I appreciate your worry and understand it. It took me having children of my own to ‘get it’. I will do fine as I always do. hugs and love to you
