The mighty sound of the ocean
may be captured by the conch
shell or perhaps the previous
resident left a gift for the
recipient to listen in wonder

A lovers heart , trapped within the ears of a shell
Cast up on different shores
She hears the voice of her lovers cries
The sound of the waves
The sigh of the winds
She hears in her shell
Her lovers cries
and sees the love
Within his eyes
Sorry my friend for getting carried away , but your pic to this romantic heart begs words of love

what a divine poem. i love ocean, and its sound is really haunting. even though i failed to hear ocean in conch shells but love to think that some one can. 🙂

Thanks Trisha! So glad you like it. I have listened to many conch shells and even if there really isn’t anything there I truly believe I can hear something so,
who knows…a mystery.

I have a couple of shells at home here and so love to go hunting on the beach when I visit my dad in California where I grew up. Thanks and Welcome!
