Night Shadows

A globe of light filling the
night sky casting night
shadows on fallow fields
silhouetted trees standing
silent only gently swaying
as a slight breeze passes
by beneath the Harvest moon

    1. Thank you and I do see your other comment and not to worry as I don’t think it badly structured at all. The moon is a wonderful treat and it isn’t often I see it so full and glowing as we have lots of cloudy weather here in Washington State. I appreciate your visit! 🙂

  1. The moon, often a symbol of many things, falling in love, waiting to have a baby as her force pulls on us, Seeing ancestors dancing under scared fires and worshipping her fullness. She truly has a power that holds us, makes us dreamy, and fills us with light in the darkness.

    1. I love to see a full moon and really have missed so many of them..it is, after all, cloudy here alot…but do love how it makes me feel. I would imagine more poems have been written about it than we could ever possibley imagine. Thank you Sue!
