We bask in the glow of compliments
received, inviting their warmth to
encompass us, their healing needed
comforting as silken threads they
touch skin softly caressing to give
a rush of euphoria until time sends
another to remind us we are worthy
We bask in the glow of compliments
unlike the flower always emitting and
infused with fragrance imbued that
is laden with an omission of crimson
accolades it does not warrant as it
remains endearing onto itself it’s
beauteous intent forever personified

Beautiful. The picture is fabulous. Roses are my most fav flower and red roses still in bud just before they begin to open are my most fav of all.
Your prose is so lovely, so fitting too, with this blogging world we live in.

Well thought out, while the rose needs no sense of what is attractive it stands on its own merit. Unlike us, we need a fresh sense of attention every now and then that makes us feel wanted and needed, still beautiful to behold. Very good distinction between the attractiveness of the lovely flower, and what we want for attraction as well, a state of congruncy.

You write such beautiful poetry Renee.. ” We bask in the glow of Compliments”.. And you truely deserve to have them for that wonderful piece of poetry…
Flowers give of them selves unconditionally so that all may bask in their beauty.. They give their lives so that we might enjoy within the space of our homes.. They Give their lives at our birth, and our birthdays at our weddings and Anniversaries and they give themselves at our farewell party from this Earth.. Such is the Beauty and unconditional love our flowers give us all.. They would be proud to have you write such loving words about them
Love your knew picture too Renee… Nice to meet you in person đŸ™‚

Thanks Sue. It is an older picture but haven’t changed greatly except more white hair. My daughter took another but haven’t got it yet to see if it will be okay to put here. I don’t like photos of myself but so many have them on their sites thought perhaps it was time.

You probably visited me and then I posted this so you missed it there. With the time change in your country and the fact I work all day I post things whenever there is a moment as I have so little time to do it. Thank you for all of your kind words and compliments. I feel the same way about you. You have a beautiful soul.
