Angels Incoming

Imagine airwaves filled with energy
amazing light the aura of a rainbow
imagine dreams coming true and a
 destiny fulfilled pure as creation
you have imagined ‘Angels Incoming’

Imagine all this energy holding the
radiance of calm and healing to be
with a sick child in a hospital room
holding the hand of grieving parents
you have imagined ‘Angels Incoming’

Imagine hope given freely and comfort
to those in poverty barely living and
those walking the streets without any
home to go to, wrapped warm and fed
you have imagined ‘Angels Incoming’

Imagine peace amongst warring nations
with people held in the grip of pain
death surrounding them and threatening
to take them walking heads held proud
you have imagined ‘Angels Incoming’

Imagine lands with disease caused by
catastrophic storms where hope seems to
abandon and no future seems left open
now rebuilding, surviving, planning
you have imagined ‘Angels Incoming’

Imagine airwaves filled with energy
amazing light the aura of a rainbow
imagine dreams coming true and a
 destiny fulfilled pure as creation
you have imagined ‘Angels Incoming’

My oldest daughter has struggled so with her Lupus and continues to rise above when others would have long given up and my youngest daughter somehow is still here after being in an accident that could have taken her life or worse and she is still here and well. Sometimes it is difficult to Not Believe that there is something more, something beyond all comprehension. I, for one, believe in the possibility.

  1. I think those “Angel” airwaves always exist around us if we but remember and tap into their source.

I’m very sorry to hear of your daughter’s struggle with Lupus but encouraged to hear of her bravery in facing it. Happy too for the grace shown your youngest daughter who was protected from grave harm. And bless your mother’s heart, Renee.

    1. Thanks so much for your comment and for your recent nomination for the award. I was quite taken aback. I do really believe that at times there is something more that protects and gives comfort that sometimes we cannot give and whether or not it is hope, faith, Angels or shear determination, it is something we all need. My daughters give me strength in their very existence and will to have better lives.

    1. I would love to believe that my love could be so powerful but sometimes I don’t feel it in me and that is why I always pray for Angels to surround them when something more is needed. Thank you as always, Trisha.

    2. Thank you Laurie for visiting and that my words can help when needed. I am such a realist by nature so there have been times doubt crawls in but in the end I do believe there are things beyond the grasp of our human hands.

    1. I do believe that my daughter, who has Lupus, is an Angel here on earth. In her short 35yrs she has affected so many lives in such positive and meaningful ways and is loved by so many it is difficult to believe it could be any other way. Thank you Elizabeth.

  4. Beautiful and uplifting poem – wishing all the best for you and your family – such struggles you have battled, and still battle. I was just talking about angels on another blog – synchrony in the blogosphere (happens all the time) – I think I may have a guardian angeL 🙂

    1. I do believe we all have guardian angels, Gabrielle, and I’m sure yours is with you ever and present giving you what you need with your young children. You are, as a mother, ever wanting to know the answers to questions there seems none to be…I know I am…but I do believe that my oldest daughter is here for a reason and I learn from her every day she is here and with my youngest as well. There is such strength in the love we receive and give and in knowing there is always something more. Thank you.

  5. Renee – this is amazing work. You have allowed yourself to be the beacon of a Divine message, one of hope and inspiration. I believe in angels and their assignment to watch over us … this provides me comfort. I am sorry to hear about your oldest daughter – but I know her faith and positive attitude has done tremendous for her immunity, and offer thanksgiving for both her and your youngest — you as well for being a brave soul, and tender heart with the courage to express so beautifully!

  6. Renee, I was crying by the end of the poem. Angels have helped me in the deepest throes of depression, including this week. Thank you for sharing about your children – Lupus, all those auto-immune diseases, seems like such a mystery, but she’s a fighter. And for your younger to be in an accident as well, but escape with her life – and more… Yes, I believe in angels. The graphic was a lovely, non-traditional respresentation, more like what I see in my mind. Thanks for the blessing. I needed it. Love, Amy

    1. I am glad you are feeling better, Amy. My daughter-in-law, as I might have said, has your same type of depression issue and works full-time and I so admire that she can as I know she has both good and bad days. Both of my daughters will never give up easily and for that I am grateful.

  7. Hi Renee, these words are so moving and as I read them I breathed them in allowing the peace of their intent to wash over me.. Angels are all around us where ever we are and whenever we need them. Often we forget to ask for their help, But they willingly give of their beautiful energy of love and healing light to all who ask.. and all who help is required… Often stepping in to comfort and guide if we did but see them..
I have had many strange occurrences when I know Angles of one sort or another, Spirit energies or whatever you wish to call them have stepped in to help heal and calm.. We must remember though that they do not interfere in our Free Will.. so we must remember to request and ask for their healing Balm.. Ask and it shall be given… Seek and you will find… For there are more things on heaven than earth, than any of us are aware…
Beautiful words you have written in your poetry dear Renee… to accompany a truly colourful image which gets the imagination going that they is really are those angels swirling around each and every one… I know so..

    1. I always ask for my loved ones to be surrounded by them and now with the recent passing of my mother, three years ago, I feel another Angel is now able to watch over those I love. The energy that is within my thoughts when I request their presence is overwhelming and I do feel that it makes such a difference. I use to pray years ago but did not understand the meaning and I do believe that many people do not but all these years later and after many more difficult and learning experiences than I ever thought I would have, the depth of what I know and believe to be true is so much greater. We all need comfort and I believe it to be as close as the breaths we take. Thank you Sue.

      1. Renee, you are so right here… Our loved ones who have passed are merely only a breath of a thought away.. I hope you do not mind me sharing this with you ..A poem I wrote after losing some one I loved..

        A Whisper Apart

How can I smile now that you’re gone?
Remembering your eyes, that twinkled and shone.
The way that your laugh would echo around.
Never again will I here that familiar sound.

Those habits that annoyed me, I already miss.
I would endure them forever, than go through this.
A part of me died, when you went away.
The Lord thought he’d take you, yet here I stay.

I know that we are but one thought apart.
But it still does not comfort my grieving heart.
I close my eyes and pretend that your still here.
Only to open them in a flood of tears.

Time is a healer, I’m sure that must be so.
Yet no one is prepared, when its time for them to go.
Its only knowing that your there in a different existence.
Bound by a love that will conquer all distance

That keeps me strong for the path I must tread.
Finding strength in memories of what you once said.
“If ever we should find our selves lonely at heart, remember we are only but a breath of a whisper apart.”

Sorry your daughter has been having a hard time, Lupus is a savage illness with all its myriad symptoms that seem to keep on cropping up endlessly. Hugs you.

    1. No worries, Jamie. My oldest began to get sick at age 12. Before that never a sick day so it was a mystery. My youngest has been in three bad vehicle accidents in her life and the last the worse. In the wrong place at the wrong time but I truly believe they have Angels watching them both. They are both amazing young women.
