Children’s laughter peals as the
sound of musical bells echoing
in the wind chimes lingering on
breezes of sun-kissed cheeks
with arms and legs akimbo as
honeysuckle vines entwining
about you ever so tightly and all
that remains is fragrance of love

My grandchildren sometimes run towards me with so much enthusiasm it is hard to contain and when I thought of it this is what I wrote.

Wow – wonderful, carefree words – love it!

Filled with the innocence and sheer abandon of a child. We just got done with dress rehearsal for “Godspell Junior” (toned-down version), and working with these kids, all arms and legs and bubbly enthusiasm, made this poem come alive for me even more! Thanks, Renee! Amy

I started young and they started young so I have 13 original grandchildren and now my oldest son and daughter have new significant others and have added 9 more! All this and I remember in high school saying I didn’t want any children at all. How times changed. Thank You for visiting, Pamela.
