Thank you for visiting me and the lovely comments, too.
a divine poem renee. simply divine. just love forests, esp those where we dont see human tracks.
you will be surprised to know that i have tried painting on paper for years but never ever liked them. i tried water colour and pencil sketches- dont have any specimens at hand but they were yuck!
So much magic in this, and yet nature is also the most essential truth we have. A walk in the forest… to meditate on how long it took that moss to blanket that tree. Lovely writing, Renee. Amy
Today I rode through a much loved forest sladed to be cut down. I comforted myself with the thought that the people who made this decision will someday be gone but Mother Nature will not and she can reclaim the land and create the forest again. Look how many civilizations are buried in forests. Thank you for this poem. I needed it tonight as I feel sad about another floresta near me being cut down. Hugs, pat
I just love Trees… and the Giants of our world are in danger especially in the forests of Brazil.. where huge swaths of Forest is being cut down. Lets remember each breath we breathe these Giants gave us that breath…
Mother Nature has so been abused by mans greed as cutting tools.. Thank you for highlighting it here with your words, and thank you Renee for dropping by my Sanctuary to leave your own beautiful comments x
That photo almost looks otherworldly doesn’t it. What a great poem describing those “ancient forests.”

Simply lovely, Renee … it conjures such imagination … for deep in the forest, the fairies must be playing hide-n-seek! 😀
