wet with recent rain leaving drops of
water glistening in the afternoon
with May flies hovering about not
yet the month of May, the deep
green of the grass offering up
renewal and something more

Your images of “something more” give a sense of revealing the vestiges of summer grass and sunshine. I can almost smell the grass being mowed, one of my favorite smells in early summer. Candy

It’s all very lush and green here at the moment and I love it. Especially after the barrenness of winter.
