enthusiasm bubbling from under
the surface as a waterfall
thunders down creating a
foaming pool of energy
whence all accomplished
infuses wild happiness a
race won triumphant the
goal embraced yours

Extravaganza
Big Top Tent Giant unbrella
upside down covering the players
Circus clowns, acrobatic wonder,
trapeze artists flying o’er the
ring where elephants parade a
trainer taking the lead a
white stallion a lady riding
Cages hold tigers and lions
trainers engage death defying
acts with rings of fire blazing
coaxing them to jump all
through as with ease a bow
performance taking
Grandstands holding the audience
wide eyed staring in disbelief
eating popcorn, cotton candy,
peanuts as somesaults take place
high above their heads, below
fire burning a building a
fire hose extinguishes
