I do love me some true old fashioned homemade pickles! Made by someone else other than me. I wish I had time to can things, but I work an average of 50-60 hours a week. Sometimes I barely have time to eat!

Use to buy huge pickles on the way home from school as a girl. My girlfriend and I each took .25 cents and the butcher at the local market would take a big one out of the pickle barrel and cut it in half so we could each have a pickle. So much better than milk which is what the .25 was for. 🙂

Lovely.. for me it is usually Chutneys, or pickled onions.. The onions shallots were not a success this year so no pickles. 🙂 Which to be honest I am pleased about.. As it is less work for me.. 🙂 ❤ xxx
