i am a realist by nature
looking at my world
not through
rose-colored
glasses
but glass tempered
clear and hard
as the surface
of smooth steel beams
yet believing in angels
surrounding me
in my quest to seek
all that is
spiritual
feeling their presence
just beneath
the surface
as in a languid pool
of water
reality may keep
my being anchored to
the unsettling nature
of human beings in life
but my soul takes
flight
with my spirit
on an ever rising
tide of angels
and safe passage

What a surpise to see you here, Marja, and I must say you made my day. I do hope all is going well for you. I have been working/training on a new computer system at work so have not written as much as I would like to so look forward to when things calm down a bit.
