ivy winds ’round tree trunks
clinging to tree bark as
though hanging on for life
not even the strongest wind
can sever ties of tendrils

Thank you Jamie. I have done this one other time and it certainly gets me to pay attention to my surroundings. Most days I am so set in a routine of getting up, going to work, coming home…I simply am in auto pilot. Thought to give this another try this year.
