month of January i stand
listening to raindrops
hitting the pavement as
i wait for the rail
to arrive…waiting
i see a tree across
the street a smattering
of leaves left
hanging on like tiny
decorations
blown by the wind and
rain i can almost
hear their symphony a
musical awakening
calling my name

I am going to try and write something about each month from a site I follow. Lady Nimue has a Months of The Year Writing Prompt that invites those who would like , to write something about each month of the year. You can find information regarding it at http://ladynimue.wordpress.com. This, or course, is for the month of January. For those of you who have already read the post excuse the change to the correct month.

That photo goes so beautifully with your words, Renee…or maybe it was the other way around. I find so many prompts and groups that I would like to join with but I feel so scattered and unfocused lately…at least when it comes to my blogging. Ho, hum…

Thank You! No worries for you I hope (unlike myself) about blogging. I think sometimes it just goes hand in hand with being a writer. The last few months I haven’t been quite there with it all. Working fulltime at a computer 8hrs a day simply wears my eyes and brain to a nub. I do look forward to weekends. Take care and know it will all turn around.

Well, you’re right..after spending all those hours at work on a computer, it would be difficult to feel inspired to get on it at home and write. For me, I’m still getting adjusted to my new life and have been busier than I was before I moved.

It will take awhile, but eventually things will settle down a bit for you but as long as you’ve the little one your hands will be full and a good thing, too. While she naps take a minute to go to your site. I’ve quite decided I can’t go to mine as often as I want and I think I have to be okay with that. Take Care.

Both picture and your words are perfect. I love the image of the leaves left on the tree, blowing and reminding you of tree lights and almost hearing a symphony.
Utterly beautiful.

It is amazing how uniquely different each tree is when it comes to losing their leaves in the Fall. Thank you for your comment.

It helps me to write about the inclement weather in the beauty I see within it as sometimes all the rain can make me sad. Writing helps. Thanks Trisha!
