Altered Google Image Fall Leaves
a visual carpet of color
captures my eyes
dances upon my head
surrounding me
thin as tissue paper
albeit tiny veins
like a map of even
smaller proportion
i grab my coat closer
watching my own
personal harvest as
the wind carries them
across city streets
i remember all the
years past when i
shared them with you
