Isolated Minds

Fragile lives held in the
shifting sands of time
 shimmering like star dust
pulsating isolated minds

spilling forth contents a
miasma screaming host in
silence with unseeing eyes
torrential rhythms boast

collapsing upon all mediocrity
seemless beings rent sighing
albeit closed escapade murmurs
a stage sets new life rising

    1. One could read it as scary but I am a realist at heart and do know that lots of people, unfortunately, for one reason or another choose to live in a world of their own making with little regard for what is going on around them. But, as you say, it can work for good as well. Thank You!

  1. I think we all at times escape within that Isolated Mind to withdraw from live just a little, as we seek peace from that hum-drum life of living.. Your words here echo so much deep feeling of what that is like ..
To me… I need to escape into that Silence to emmerge anew.. To set myself upon That ‘Stage’ which set me up for the day………
Love and Blessing to you Renee.. xx

    1. I so like your comments, Sue. I love the idea of coming home and retreating to my room, which is now office/room, (long story) and having the quiet to really think about my writing. Blessings to you as well. My daughter is doing so much better lately and not a cure for Lupus as there is none but the surgery seems to have helped with some of her problems she was having. I appreciate all of your kind words in her regard.
