Quote by Albert Einstein

I believe a life without imagination in it is a life not full but yearning for more . A man of such diverse and intelligent thoughts says so much in these few words.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”
-Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

Writer’s Repose

Thoughts flow like
vines grasping the
base of an abandoned
pedestal the ornateness
of which is covered
with only mossy lichens
on a bowl with contents
emptied and dust filled
no longer a bath for
tiny sparrows that have
taken flight their
chirping bird song now
a distant memory in
the wind that stirs the
breeze to send leaves
fluttering in the old
deserted graveyard
where long lost writers
have taken their repose

Flight of Doldrums

The conundrum of
making doldrums fly
to make way for
forever rainbow skies
that keep the
illusion of clouds
at bay so thoughts
are freed in a
healing way from
the condundrum of
making doldrums fly

Quote by Mother Teresa

I don’t think you need be a person of any religious persuasion or faith to wonder at the wisdom that this one particular woman spoke. Inspiring.

“God is the friend of silence.

See how nature-trees, flowers, grass-grows in silence;

see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence…

We need silence to be able to touch souls.”

-Mother Teresa (1910-1997)

Melding Raindrops

Rivulets of water
cascading down as
torrents running
over the rooftop
to hit windows with
raindrops melding
into one continuous
river and puddling
around the outside
walls announcing the
arrival of the first
winter’s storm
