Rivulets of water
cascading down as
torrents running
over the rooftop
to hit windows with
raindrops melding
into one continuous
river and puddling
around the outside
walls announcing the
arrival of the first
winter’s storm

It does rain alot here in Washington State and I would like to think I’ve gotten use to it but really, I still like the sun of California where I grew up. I hope you stay dry and warm as well. 🙂

For all the wonderful things that rain does for us it tends to make me sad too but the sun will come out again. Thank You Gabrielle for visiting.

I know you have lots of rain there…probably even more than here…so I know you understand what a mix of feelings it can bring. Everything so much greener but one needs to have sun as well so the Fall and Winter can be trying times. Nature is such a beautiful thing.
