Inspecting each tiny flower
Columbine, Dandelions,
Sweet William, Gladiolas
clasping delicate stems
sniffing the fragrance,
eyes closed, concentration
everything, wise at three

This bit of prose is due to the inspiration of my grandson, Kade, who at three is at times much wiser than his grandmother. I love you, Kade.

Wise at three… wonderful thought, Renee. It’s so true, too. There’s a song called, “Faith LIke A Child” that encapsules that from a spiritual standpoint. And it takes good parenting to keep that child on track. Loved the pic, too! Amy

It’s great to watch a child explore their world. We can learn so much that we’ve forgotten,

‘wise at three’ … yes… then it all starts getting complicated! I like this image – both the words and the picture.

Yes, it seems there is a lot of ‘sage’ wisdom at 3 in a child. They are uncomplicated yet to the ways of the world and so they speak the truth about life.

Beautiful – children see wonder in the world that we, as adults, often miss. It’s a really beautiful thing to observe!
