Try seeing with the eyes of your soul to
imagine life upside down, inside out, a
life where animals that walk the earth
had wings to fly instead and the birds of
the air had legs to walk on the earth,
what would life be like then…
Phenomenal
Cats, dogs, horses,elephants with wings
to fly high above to play with the clouds
to venture to mountain tops covered with
snow, to see running rivers swift, lakes and
oceans to delight, confounding the senses
what would life be like then…
Mesmerizing
Birds transformed into creatures with legs
walking in fields of flowers, climbing to the
tops of mountains, traveling to the depths of
valleys, amazed at the smallest of creatures,
curling up to sleep in hay or on a bed
what would life be like then…

I agree with the magical and with what happens when the eyes of the soul are truly opened. Nothing is ever the same, and everything has deeper meaning, and that essence of miracle about it.

This is great ~~ I am trying daily to see with those eyes … but they have a lot of “sleep” in them! 🙂

I very much like the form of this with each stanza sharing a similar ending and the use of three such good words.
Sounds a bit like a nightmareish dream to me! 🙂

Perhaps, but meant to be fun and a bit of whimsy. Imagination brings words to life just as you do with your short stories which are wonderful! Thanks!

Very cool! I have always wondered what it would be like to be a bird and see what they see.

A delightful fantasy, though I imagine the sky could become as crowded as Piccadilly Circus at rush hour.

You gave me the inspiration when you said “what if I were a bird?” I thought…well, why not! I love the
comparison with the Picadilly Circus. I’ve not been but
have seen pictures. Thank You!
