Spring’s first bulbs pushing up through black, rich earth
With colors of purple, pink, white and yellow where Crocus,
Daffodils and Hyacinth jockey for position for who will be
Next to wake up from long Winter’s naps causing smiles all
Around as do juicy, ripe, lucious berries when a bite is taken
Red Strawberries and Rasberries that give a pucker to lips
Longing for more, longing for life to March to one’s door and
Knock loudly with Greeting as if to say “Take it all in and do
not leave anything to Chance for today is the first day of the
Rest of your Life”!
